Thompson Beach House For this year's Independence Day weekend, I went down to Hampstead, NC to visit Holton's parents. According to google maps they live right in front of Howard's Channel, at the north end of Topsail Island. I haven't been to their beach house since it was in the process of being buit and it was but a frame. It is now a gorgeous home! I enjoyed an awesome visit with Holton, Boone, Dean, and Camille. Wedding on Kauai Keith and I were finally married on June 15 2010! HORRAY!! The week spent on Kauai with the fam was great and the wedding was perfect! I'll be on cloud nine for a long time! Colorado Trip For the last family vacation of the summer, Keith and his mother joined me and mine on a really fun trip to Keystone Colorado. Actually the town we stayed in was Dillion but Keystone was right nextdoor. We stayed at a family friend's condo for the week and although a little cramped for five people it was a lot of fun. The temperature was WONDERFUL the whole time! On some the mountain peaks it was only in the 50's and I got to wear pants and 2 coats!! I LOVE COLD WEATHER! :D 105 photos |

Birthday Bash 2008 Since Keith's mom and I have birthdays that were only several days apart we decided to do one party for us both. I was eager for everyone to see our new place so we hosted the gathering. The attendees included Keith's brother's family and my mum. As well as a B-day party it doubled as an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids since we would all be in different places on Easter Sunday. The only B-Day girl not with us was Holton. Christmas Cruise 2007 My first cruise ever was very fun! My fiance and I were treated to this cruise for Christmas and we went with my mom and sister. We flew to Tampa, FL and then sailed to Key West, Cozumel, Grand Caymans, and then last stop was Jamaica. 90 photos |

Alaska Cruise: Departure & Sailing Day We departed from Pier 66 and spent the first day just sailing up to Ketchican, our first stop. We spent our first sailing day getting acquainted with the ship and realizing that we hadn't brought warm enough clothes. We'd brought jackets but hats, mittens, ear muffs, long johns...not so much, lol. Yes. It was that cold. 50 photos |

Pre-Cruise Days May 2009: Our Alaskan cruise left out of a pier at Seattle so we spent a couple days in the city before the ship left. It's the second time I've visited the city and I enjoyed even more the second go around. Of course Keith's presence makes anything all that much more fun but the city itself was great. We spent a whole day just exploring Seattle. We visited the Seattle Art Museum (actually went back on the second day to finish looking through all the art!), walked down the Olympic Sculpture Garden, and found lots of yummy food to chow down on! It was blast! On the last night we went to a dinner and show performance called Teatro ZinZanni. If you ever go to Seattle this is a must see. It was an excellent show...even if the food was a bit odd for my tastes, hehe. :D 44 photos |

Tornader! Earlier today whilst I was napping a loud noise disturbed me and Keith went out to investigate. Suddenly he goes, "Oh shit! It's a tornado!" Went got all ready to hide out in the bathroom but it quieted down before too long. About half and hour later Keith went to explore and got some pics of where it touched down. It was in the neighborhood right next to ours. We were lucky and it doesn't look any houses were seriously damaged. 6 photos |

Colorado Trip 4 This album is of our day of hiking on a local Dillion trail and then the afternoon walk around Lake Dillion. The local trail had great scenery and MUTANT mosquitoes!!! Up until this day we had not needed any bug spray so we didn't bring on this day either. The trail wound down around some rather swampy areas and man oh man! We were a feast! We made it about half down the trail before we had to turn around and go back. Later we went for a walk around the lake which was great and didn't involve any blood sucking insects :D 55 photos |

Colorado Trip 3: Hiking This album is of pictures taken while we hiked in the park. Thought my lungs would burst! Took like 10 steps up the trails and spots appeared! My mom and Keith power walked up and down the mountain while the rest of us damn neared passed out, hehe! It was a lot of fun though and I took so many pictures. I had over 500 pics to go through for this album. I'm a bit picture happy :D 49 photos |
