On the way to hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park :D Saw some super fluffy clouds. Passed a really nice lake. This is either Shadow Mountain Lake or Grand Lake, just can't remember which. Fluffy sis!
I don't remember how high up we were at this point, probably about 11, 000ft, but the temperature dropped considerably and I remember the van saying it was 58. We stopped and walked around a bit. I love my mom's pose here.
I kept waiting to see her come rolling down the mountain.
We found snow to play in! It was soooo nice! All I really wanted to do on this trip was touch some snow. It was wonderful!
Not only did we play in snow but some elk came over the rise to investigate us.
Elk butt! :D We drove around another meadow that had a very large herd in it. These guys must be used to people b/c there were tourists walking down to the herd and actually petting some of them. Attacked!
Poor sis and I looked like this most of the time. Along the trails are these really gorgeous hard woods, maybe birch. On their poor trunks people have gouged their initials out. Idiots

Spotted this little guy munching on his treat. Taking a quick break...thank god! My mom puts me to shame! She was power walking up and down these mountains and the rest of us were about out for oxygen deprivation! Well, except for Keith. He's my human stick...he doesn't need air to survive! :D Bear Lake

Description: This album is of pictures taken while we hiked in the park. Thought my lungs would burst! Took like 10 steps up the trails and spots appeared! My mom and Keith power walked up and down the mountain while the rest of us damn neared passed out, hehe! It was a lot of fun though and I took so many pictures. I had over 500 pics to go through for this album. I'm a bit picture happy :D
